A bloody accident occurred. Two children, 14 and 15 years old, were killed, and another person was injured.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of the region.
Thus, it is noted that the accident occurred at approximately 20:00. A Honda CR-V and a VAZ 2101 collided.
Rescuers had to use hydraulic scissors to cut out two passengers of a VAZ 2101 car, aged 14 and 15, after which they were transferred to doctors in ambulances. The driver of the car was also hospitalized.
The teenagers subsequently died in hospital.
Based on this fact, criminal proceedings were initiated under Part 3 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – Violation of road safety rules or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a period of five to ten years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
The driver of the Honda CR-V was declared suspicious and detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The issue of choosing a preventive measure is currently being decided.
